About
Audrey Farley, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Hello and welcome! I’m a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) with over two decades of experience in healthcare. I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy to adults navigating a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. My approach is rooted in trauma-informed care, and I strive to create a safe, collaborative space for healing.
Since graduating as a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I’ve worked in community mental health settings, supporting individuals with complex emotional and behavioral health needs. My background includes med-surg nursing, telemetry, Coumadin management, and care coordination. I also spent 15 years in emergency departments as a CNA and unit secretary, which gave me a deep understanding of the pressures people face during health crises.
I draw from both Western medicine and holistic mental health practices, tailoring treatment plans to each individual’s goals and values. As a lifelong Mainer, I understand the unique challenges and strengths of our communities—whether that’s the isolation of rural living, seasonal stressors, access issues, or the deep sense of resilience many Mainers share. While many telehealth providers may not be based in Maine, I live and work here, and I bring firsthand knowledge of local resources, healthcare systems, and the realities of life in our state.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, hiking, boating, bird watching, and spending time with my family exploring the beautiful outdoors that make Maine feel like home.
