Psychiatric Services & Adult ADHD Testing via Telehealth
Quietside Psychiatry offers outpatient psychiatric services for adults across Maine via secure telehealth. We specialize in adult ADHD evaluation and testing, psychiatric medication management, and diagnostic clarification for adults whose symptoms have been misunderstood or undertreated.
Adult ADHD Testing & Evaluation
Comprehensive adult ADHD evaluation using objective, FDA-cleared testing tools — including QbCheck, Creyos cognitive assessment, and CAARS rating scales. Testing measures attention, impulsivity, hyperactivity, and executive function with real data, not just self-report.
ADHD in adults is routinely mistaken for anxiety, depression, or burnout — especially in high-achieving professionals who have learned to compensate. Our evaluation process is designed to untangle overlapping symptoms and get the diagnosis right.
No referral needed. Results typically available within weeks, not months.
Insurance
Quietside Psychiatry accepts Aetna, Anthem, Community Health Options, Harvard Pilgrim, Meritain and Mainecare. Self pay, FSA, and HSA are also accepted.
Initial Psychiatric Evaluation
A comprehensive psychiatric assessment that includes review of mental health history, current concerns, and treatment goals. This visit focuses on diagnostic clarification and development of an individualized treatment plan.
Medication Management-Follow-Up Appointments
Ongoing psychiatric medication management with careful monitoring, education, and collaboration. Treatment decisions are individualized and evidence-based. Structured follow-up visits to assess progress, adjust treatment, and provide ongoing support.
Supportive Interventions
I provide brief supportive psychotherapy as part of psychiatric care. Supportive psychotherapy focuses on emotional support, coping skills, guidance, education, and problem-solving related to current stressors. It offers brief symptom-focused support to help manage stress, mood, anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, and daily functioning. It is not a replacement for ongoing therapy, but can be helpful alongside medication management to promote stability, insight, and improved functioning.
